AI in Live Action

AI gives live-action cinema new tools. The value of any tool is tested in the context of a particular film: did it help fulfil the vision and make the story and the characters convincing for the viewer? The discussion will address the possibilities of the technology, the responsibility of authors, and the cases in which AI can be effectively used in filmmaking.

Points for discussion:
• Artistic vision determines how AI is used.
• Changes in job descriptions affect people in real life: AI is changing tasks, the composition of crews, and the skills needed in production. People must be part of these changes and influence how the new tools enter their work.
• Russian technologies need to be developed in cooperation with the film industry.
• Creators’ rights and the trust of audiences are the foundation of working with AI.
