A cooperation agreement was signed at the United Cultures Forum between the Russian National Museum of Music (Russian Federation) and the Hubei Provincial Museum (People’s Republic of China).
The signatories were Mikhail Bryzgalov, Director General of the Russian National Museum of Music, and Mr. Guang He, Deputy Director of the Hubei Provincial Museum.
The main objectives of the agreement are to organize joint exhibition projects; develop cooperation in scholarly, outreach, and educational spheres; exchange information in the field of research; and hold academic and practical conferences and seminars.
“I would like to thank our colleagues from China, who came specially for one day to be here, to breathe the air of the United Cultures Forum, and to sign this remarkable agreement. The Museum of Music was founded in 1912 — we are over 100 years old. The Hubei Provincial Museum was founded in 1953 — a younger museum, but as we saw in the presentation, it is growing, developing, and creating very interesting programs and, of course, museum projects. We are delighted: as early as December of this year we plan to open our first exhibition at this museum, and we will certainly continue moving forward together,” said Mikhail Bryzgalov at the close of the event.
